3. Participation agreement

Risk acknowledgement

I understand that the rules and instructions given by Clip ‘N climb Vancouver personnel are import to insure the safety of all participants, and therefore must be complied with.

Given the facts, I hereby acknowledge the risks associated or related to indoor climbing and the use of the installations, including but not limited to the following:

• 1. Sliding, tripping or falling in a way that would cause pain while using the installations or the material, the climbing walls, the floor space underneath the climbing areas, the training areas, the bathrooms or the stairs;
• 2. The possibility of injury resulting from the fall of the participant, including but not limited to falling on other participants, falling or coming in contact with the walls, structures or ropes, or falling on the ground.

I understand that the description of these risks is not complete and that other unknown or unforeseen risks can result in injury or death.

Medical declaration

I confirm that I am physically and mentally able to participate in the chosen activities. If my physical or mental state changes after signing this agreement in a matter that incapacitates me, I will immediately cease these activities. I understand that there are restrictions in case of pregnancy, back or shoulder problems, heart conditions or other conditions limiting physical activities.

Individuals with the following conditions should not engage in climbing activities: back problems, heart failure, epilepsy, and pregnancy. If you have any questions or concerns, please discuss them with the staff.
