29 Mar 2021 – As you may know, the new health orders issued by Dr. Bonnie Henry on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic have been revised. We have discussed the new order with BC Health and have received confirmation that we are able to stay open with some new restrictions.
We can only accept bookings for single households. We cannot allow for multiple household bookings under the clause of we are a recreational facility that offers individual workouts. Social distancing measures between households remains in effect.
As per our Covid safety plan, we are continuing a mandatory mask policy with the only exceptions being those listed in the Masking Order. Social distancing everywhere in the building is required. Party rooms are not be available for the duration of the order
We’re being as proactive as possible and constantly assessing the risks. We would like to share with you the additional measures and precautions we’re taking to best ensure the well-being of all our climbers and employees.
If anyone has recently traveled overseas, been unwell or been in contact with someone with a suspected or known case of COVID-19, we ask that they come for a climb at another time, for the safety of our crew and climbers.
Waivers should be completed online prior to arrival as to avoid unnecessary contact on-site.
The vertical drop slide is closed until further restrictions are lifted. The leap of faith will only be available on weekends.
Group bookings of 11+ climbers will not be permitted with some exceptions (school/camp excursions).
We have reduced each session’s capacity from 30 to 10, so it is important that you book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you choose not to book, unfortunately we we cannot guarantee you a place in the session. Gift Vouchers are still available online and will be instantly emailed to you.
For ticket purchases onsite, cashless payments are the preferred method of payment.
Spectators: While we usually don’t have a cap on spectators, we ask they do not attend, especially grandparents or other high-risk individuals.
We will ask screening questions at check-in for visitors that have recently traveled internationally, been unwell or been in contact with someone with a suspected or known case of COVID-19, and if anyone in the group has been asked to self-isolate, for the safety of our staff and other climbers. Answers to yes of any of the questions will be asked to attend another time.
Cloth gloves are included in your session (one size only). You are welcome to bring your own. The gloves are used once. Staff will wear masks at all times for harnessing and floor work. Gloves and are optional for guests, however masks are mandatory outside the climbing space, if you do not have one, we can provide one for you.
Climbers will be asked to wash hands prior to and following each session.

You’ll find markers along the ground to guide you where to stand while you’re at reception.
Our crew will still need to make sure your safety equipment is properly fitted at all times and means we may be in close proximity with our climbers. Please know we’ll be keeping our contact to an absolutely minimum and will be frequently washing our hands. Crew members are required to wear masks at all times including during harnessing.
When you’re on the climbing floor, we ask that climbers not in the same home-isolation bubble keep an empty wall between each other to maintain social distancing.
During your climb, our team will be remain on the ground but be monitoring physical distancing.
Our facility has been treated with Zero Blast hygiene solution. This treatment kills germs, viruses, bacteria and mould for up to 90 days. The fog is non-toxic and is conducted every three months. For more information on how the treatment works check out zeroblast.com
Party rooms are currently not in use.
We have extra sanitizer stations in the climbing space and climbers are encouraged to sanitize hands in between each climb. Please remember to wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds, cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze/cough with a tissue or into your upper sleeve/elbow and avoid touching your face.
Drinking fountains will be unavailable during this time, however you can refill your bottles from the refilling station. Please bring along enough water for your session, or you can purchase water for $2.00 (incl tax) on site.
Spectators: While we usually don’t have a cap on spectators, we ask they do not attend, especially grandparents or other high-risk individuals. Just share your photos and videos with them instead.
Supervisors: We are allowing only 1 ground supervisor per up to 2 kids (4-5yrs) per booking and 1 adult for up to 3 children (6-9yrs). Children 10 and over do not require a ground supervisor.
